Buzzing with Excitement: Join Our New Hives Program!

We know how hectic life can get for law firm professionals, often bumping chapter activities down the list. But fear not! Our Membership Committee, led by the dynamic duo Angel Coe and Steph Lane, has cooked up something special just for you—the Hives Program!

Imagine small, buzzing groups where you can connect and mingle with fellow members on a more personal level. These “bee hives” are designed to help you get to know each other better, with geographic mapping, sign-ups, and friendly beekeepers to guide the way.

It’s all about making our chapter more vibrant and connected through personal interactions and collaboration. We’re excited to see the hive come alive with activity and connection!

Austin ALA DEIA Committee Shines at the Pride Parade!

On Saturday, August 10, 2024, the Austin ALA DEIA Committee partnered with the Austin Bar Association to march in the Austin Pride Foundation's annual Pride Parade. This year’s theme, “Queer Cabaret: Unleashed Glamour + Glitz,” transformed downtown Austin into a glittering stage of diversity and love.

With over 200,000 attendees, the parade was a dazzling celebration of inclusivity and creativity. Our team joined the festivities, embracing the spirit of the theme with a vibrant and spirited presence. From sparkling gowns to bold, glamorous looks, it was a moment to shine and celebrate the fierce and fabulous energy of our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support and celebrate with us. It was a joy to be part of such an extraordinary event!
